About Us
The team at OFFSEASON Physical Therapy and Sports Performance strives to provide individualized, effective care beyond that of a more prototypical physical therapy clinic. Specializing in the youth athlete, we offer our clients quality one-on-one care with a licensed Doctor of Physical Therapy and Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist. What sets us apart from other facilities includes our ability to effectively and efficiently return athletes to peak performance. We aim to bridge the gap between rehabilitation and sports performance, as this is often an area of disconnect between professions that can lead to further injury risk. Through thorough assessment of movement mechanics, we can identify faulty patterns throughout the kinetic chain that predisposed the athlete to the initial injury, or that may lead to future injury. By early identification and mitigation of these movement faults, the athlete can develop the proper foundation to minimize risk of future injuries.
Meet The Team

Danielle Morency
PT, DPT, CSCS
Danielle is a graduate of Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine where she earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree. She believes in taking a whole-body approach to physical therapy, evaluating how different components of the kinetic chain come together to create optimal movement patterns and enhance patient function. Danielle has had vast clinical experiences in sports rehabilitation with patient populations ranging from youth athletes to professional athletes. Her special interests include treating the youth athlete, the overhead athlete, ACL rehabilitation, and injury prevention. As a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, she enjoys bridging the gap between rehabilitation from injury and return to sport.
Danielle enjoys spending time with friends and family, traveling, running on the Chicago Lakefront Trail, and cheering on Chicago and University of Michigan sports teams. Danielle works collaboratively with patients to establish an individualized plan of care to help patients achieve their specific goals.

She is focused on returning her patients back to peak mental and physical performance, teasing out any underlying pathological factors with an aim to target injury prevention, and individualizing treatment plans based on each patient’s goals. Lois has a wide range of experience in sports medicine from concussion management to conservative and surgical management of the elite level athlete with game day and pre/post practice program design.

Sara Bayerle
PT, DPT, CPT, CES
Sara is a graduate of Saint Louis University, where she earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy. Additionally, she has many years of ongoing experience with one on one and small group personal training to a diverse population. Being a previous athlete herself, Sara found a love for the how and why behind body movements and mechanics in athletics at an early age. She approaches treatment to working with the whole person, and her areas of interest include the lower extremity, treating youth athletes, and developing individualized rehabilitation and training programs. She is a strong advocate for injury prevention to optimize participation in sport and beyond.
When she’s not treating, Sara can be found being her own athlete- whether mountain and gravel biking, running, boxing, playing basketball or weight lifting. She enjoys spending as much time outside as possible.
